In the past week SAP Product Management has announced the Release to Customers of SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation 7.5 (SAP BPC 7.5), version for the Microsoft platform, as well as the version for the Netweaver Platform.
The versions will be available for select customers participating in the Ramp-Up program. The general availability (unrestricted shipment) of both versions of SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation 7.5 is planned for June 2010 depending on when Ramp-Up KPI targets are achieved (and is therefore subject to change at SAP's discretion).
Key enhancements in this release of SBO Planning and Consolidation 7.5 (SAP BPC 7.5), version for the Microsoft platform include:
- Extended reporting and analysis via integration with the SAP BusinessObjects BI tools
- Single-sign on and extended authentication support via support of SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise
- Reduced integration effort and richer compliance through improved integration with source systems and other EPM applications enabled by Financial Information Management (FIM)
- Increased Business Process Flow (BPF) flexibility
- Enhanced usability in the Excel client
- Simplified creation and editing of business rules and script logic
Key new features and enhancements in this release of SBO Planning and Consolidation 7.5, version for the Netweaver platform include:
- Extended reporting and analysis via integration with the SAP BusinessObjects BI tools
- Single-sign on and extended authentication support via support of SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise
- Enhanced integration with SAP NetWeaver BW and ERP
- Integration with SAP BusinessObjects Process Control
